Invitation to Rita’s Funeral

It is with heavy hearts but with relief that we finally announce Rita Awuor Ojunge’s burial to be held in Berlin.

Rita Awuor Ojunge, went missing from her home in Brandenburg on 7th April, her remains were finally found in June an have been in police custody since.

Her mother, Felista Adhiambo Onyango, traveled from Kenya in October to come and bury Rita, but she was not allowed to do so. Now the police have released her body for burial but her mother is already back in Kenya.

The burial that is being organized by her cousin will be held:
