Mũkoma wa Ngũgĩ, an author, lecturer and son to the Kenyan literary genius, Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o will be ushering 2015 on a happy note.

Monday this week saw Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o, receive his honorary doctorate from the University of Bayreuth, in Southern Germany.
The University of Bayreuth will honour our Kenyan literary genius, critic and writer, Professor Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o with an honorary doctorate.
Last Thursday (3rd April 2014), saw Selline Korir honoured for her engagement as a peace ambassador.
Another Kenyan female scientist bags this prestigious award, Mercy Mwanika Ojoyi, also a Kenyan from the University of Bonn, won the same in 2012.
