Below a message from a good friend and spiritual mentor, Pastor Judy Karanja from GGC Nairobi:

Jesus answered, “You give them something to eat.” They said to him, “That would take more than half a year’s wages! Are we to go and spend that much on bread and give it to them to eat?” Mark 6:37

Faced with a shortage problem, the disciples put their heads together and began to calculate how long it would take; using their sweat and payments, to do what Jesus told them to do. It became apparent that it would take too long to achieve. It would be too late. The poor hungry people would be dead already by the time they were able to feed them.

The full scope of the assignment that God has for you cannot be achieved through your sweat and natural ability to make money. It is normal to try and project where you would be through your own sweat and tears. It may even be depressing.

If your life kept going at it’s current rate:

  • What kind of future wold you have?
  • What kind of neighborhood would you live in?
  • What kind of lifestyle would you afford?
  • What kind of inheritance would you leave your children?
  • What kind of help would you be to nations?
  • What kind of impact would you make on this generation?

God wants to help you. Even if you feel it’s too late to achieve your dream. He is the one who put it in your heart, let Him help you.

That day, the people had more than enough to eat. The disciples even gathered baskets of left overs. When you let God get involved, you will achieve much more than you could by yourself, in much shorter time, with overflow and with no sorrow of toil.

May God help you to fulfill the dream that He has put in you. It’s not too late.

Barikiweni!!

When I started the blog, I didn’t expect it to even have daily updates. It was to archive information and I was sure, I’d be done posting all I knew within a few months but by the grace of God, it has grown far beyond what I thought it would. Far beyond what I could have managed had I tried to do it myself.

God never gives a vision without provision. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God cannot keep you.

Mkenya can only grow BIGGER, come join in.
