Kenyan Man Attacked at a Mall in Brandenburg

A Kenyan man was last week Thursday attacked by an unknown assailant at a mall in Jüterborg in Brandenburg.

Thursday, 28th June, an unknown suspect and a 28-year-old young man from Kenya got into a fight in the parking lot of a shopping mall. The argument escalated and the suspect struck the Kenyan man with a fist in his face.

A witness, who later called the police joined the two men and stood between the two to prevent further physical assaults. During this separation, the attacker disappeared from the scene without leaving his details.

The Kenyan man was slightly injured in the attack but did not need to be hospitalized.

What caused the argument or the motive behind the attack remains unclear but the police suspect a racial attack, which they are seeking to clarify with their investigations.
