A Kenyan lady from Darmstadt was involved in a serious road accident on Sunday morning in Montabaur in the state of Rhineland Palatine.

According to the police report, the 32 year old Kenyan, identified as Linda, was driving from Neuhäusel towards Montabaur along the B49. At around 20 minutes past midnight, close to the left bend known as „Großen Herrgott” (“Great God”), her car skidded off the road probably due to high speed. The Mercedes collided with a tree head on before being thrown off and falling on a tree on the passenger side.

The woman, who was alone in the car, was severely injured and had to be freed from the wreck by the fire fighters from Montabaur and Horressen. After emergency medical care on site, the woman was taken to a hospital in Koblenz where she passed on.

Linda had gone into a coma while at the hospital, where she stayed for three days. On Tuesday afternoon, the family was called in and the life support machines switched off after the doctors pronounced her brain dead, her family told Mkenya Ujerumani.

Details on where people will be meeting and how you can help the family will be updated shortly.
