After Lufthansa’s entry into the Kenyan market, Condor is taking the bait and increasing their flights to Mombasa.
Condor captain Alfred Kohler said the airline would from March next year increase flights from Frankfurt to Mombasa from three times a week to five times.
He noted that passengers from Germany heading to Mombasa were on the rise after the UK government lifted travel advisories against coastal towns some months ago.

Following the lift of the travel bans, he said, Condor would now operate direct flights from Frankfurt to Mombasa rather than flying via Zanzibar or Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.

Mr Kohler also said the airline’s crew would from this week stay in Mombasa since security has significantly improved.
“From next month to March next year, our airline will be busy as lots of German tourists will be coming to Mombasa, Diani and Malindi for holidays,” he said.
