The family to the Kenyan lady who passed away in Hamburg has been found and the deceased finally laid to rest.
The story on the search for Wachia Manambo’s next of kin was run on various news platforms including MU last month and after a long search, the family of Jaridine (Jardin) Wachia Manambo Graff was finally found led by Reto Wakenya Pamoja, community organisation in Hamburg.
The family was unfortunately not in a position to transport the remains back to Kenya for the burial and thus gave their consent for Ms. Graff to be laid to rest here in Germany.
“We finally found the Family of Jaydin and they gave us the right to bury there daughter here in Hamburg coz there was no way we could have send the body back home “, Halima Maninah, a member of Reto Wakenya Pamoja in Hamburg, wrote in a statement sent to MU.
Ms. Graff was eventually laid to rest on Thursday, 13th July in Hamburg.
“We have finally bury her today”, Ms Maninah confirmed.
On behalf of the family, we would like to thank you for your efforts in helping find the next of kin to Ms. Graff. Asanteni sana!!
