Utalii College in Berlin at the Preparatory Meeting for the EUHOFA Congress

The international association of international schools of hotel management (EUHOFA International) is currently hastening the preparations for the 54th congress to be held in Berlin this November.

Last week, board members of the EUHOFA International met up at the Fachschule Berlin to discuss the preparation of the annual international congress of the association which is scheduled for 7th – 13th November, 2015 also in Berlin. In addition, business concerns of the association, as well as the new home page and the future strategies of Euhofa International (vision, mission and development) were discussed.

Among the board members were Florence Wanjiku Njau and Kenneth Ombongi, both of Kenya Utalii College.

“’New Trends, New Brands’ will be the motto of the event; the subject being future development of the hospitality industry and gastronomy. We’ll be expecting close to 100 participants from all around the world”, Dieter Reichl and Juliane Klar of “Hotelfachschule Berlin” (Berlin School of Hotel Management), who are this year’s organizers of the conference said .

“We are very happy to be the conference hosts in Berlin and look forward to meeting members from more than 140 schools from all around the world. The ‘Hotelfachschule Berlin’ has worked out some exciting subjects and found some interesting partners”, says Maria Wiesinger, President EUHOFA International.

The EUHOFA International is a prestigious association of hotel school directors and deans of hospitality colleges and universities who work continuously to ensure the highest quality of education in their institutes.

In addition to their EUHOFA International meeting, the Kenya Utalii Team also paid a courtesy call to the Kenyan Ambassador to Germany, Amb. Magutt at the Embassy in Berlin.
