New custody law might increase the number of abortions in Germany

Thought the Federal Statistics office announced that the number of abortions in Germany had dropped by 1.9% this year as compared to last year, the changing of the law allowing men get custody of their children without their baby mama’s approval might just increase these numbers again(Read here: Baby Daddies allowed to take full custody even against the Baby Mama’s Consent).

According to the Verband alleinerziehender Mütter und Väter, the number of pregnant women asking for advice on abortions had increased since the announcement of the new law. Most women to prefer to abort than have “no say” on who gets custody.
