This week due to popular demand (more like harassment), I’ll share a Zulu song Namhla Nkosi. Don’t fret if I haven’t shared your favourite song yet, I have a huge collection if I decided to share all my music, this might just turn into a music blog…

But here is Namhla Nkosi, Today O Lord an old zulu hymnal that has been redone numerous times. Here are 2 of my favourite versions by Zaza (real name Zanele Mokhethi) from Joyous Celebration and my all time favourite gospel artist Rebecca Malope. The song has a great message; if You hadn’t been by my side Lord, I could have fallen on the way side.

Hope the song blesses you enough to remember to count your blessings, and thank God for the far He’s brought you. You may not be in your destination, but you’re definitely not at your starting point either.
