Apply for the Liese Prokop Stipendium for Foreigners in Austria

The Austrian Integration Fund (Österreichischen Integrationsfonds, ÖIF) will be awarding the Liese Prokop Scholarship for migrants in a Vorstudienlehrgang, attending Uni or in the Nostrifikationsprozess  for the academic year 2014/15.

Application deadline: August 17, 2014
Application period runs from 11 June to 17 August 2014

Who can apply for the scholarship?

The Liese Prokop Scholarship is awarded in three columns in the field of Preparation Programme, the degree program as well as for academic validation. It encourages and thereby recognizes performance of Migrants.

 

Vorstudienlehrgang

You are …

• entitled to asylum (recognized refugees)
• subsidiary protection status or
• third, national, and have your main place of residence in Austria (not “residence permit students”)

Regular study

You are …

• subsidiary protection status and
• third, national, and have your main place of residence in Austria (not “residence permit students”)

Nostrifikation

You are …

• entitled to asylum (recognized refugees)
• subsidiary protection status or
• third, national, and have your main place of residence in Austria (not “residence permit students”)

 

Requirements for a scholarship

• Admission to an Austrian university or Austrian Fachhochschule not entitled to student aid (see www.stipendium.at)
• Beginning of the study before completion of 30 years of age (at nostrification there is no age limit) detectable needed support for study and social need.
