Jackson with his sister running to school.

Do you remember your way to school? What did you see on your way, what did you encounter?

A new film by the french film director, Pascal Plisson, will be following four children and covering their pursuit of education. The film that features children namely: Jackson (11) from the savannahs of Kenya, Zahira (12) from the trails of the Atlas mountains in Morocco, Samuel (13) from Southern India and Carlito (11) from the plateaux of Patagonia in Argentinia.

The trailer below shows part of what the film is about.

I found the Kenyan story a bit too dramatic with the lions roaring in the background. It might be for dramatic effect but I don’t buy it. It’s known that the Maasai who do live in areas with wild animals use herbs that prevent the carnivores from “smelling” their presence, ama?
