You might remember, Nicholas Ndege, from the article I wrote about him when he was teaching at a school in Gieboldehausen. (read: Kenyan Teaching German in Gieboldehausen). This time, he’s back in Germany and he brought his students with him.
The students will be staying in Gieboldehausen with host families as they visit the town and get to learn more about Germany. The exchange program that is made possible by the PASCH program aims to improve learning of German in different countries. Next year they plan to have the Alliance Girls’ High School students visiting.
According to Mr. Ndege quoting the famous philosopher Aurelius Augustinus: „Die Welt ist ein Buch, wer nie reist, sieht nur eine Seite davon.“ (The world is a book and whoever never travels, sees only one page of it)
