Kenyan Delivers an Outstanding Valedictorian Speech at the Jacobs University Bremen

You might remember her for winning the Mercator Stiftung award earlier this year for her social engagement and excellent grades, Robin Wanjiru Njenga. An amazing young lady with great potential and amazing leadership skills. She definitely stood out at the Jacobs University in Bremen not only because of her outstanding grades but also for her work in trying to bring the whole university community together by organising social events and groups.

She will be remembered at the Jacobs Uni for starting the Mzuka African choir, the Country Information days and for being the valedictorian of 2013.

The young lady has since moved on to do her Masters at the University of Heidelberg.

She is the daughter of a renowned Kenyan lawyer and political analyst Mr. Njenga Mwangi. Mr. Njenga is known for having called Uhuru Kenyatta, “Mr. President”, on the steps of the Hague based court (ICC) in October 2011.

The Jacobs University Bremen is an international, private residential university in Bremen, Germany. Jacobs University is an English-speaking higher education institution and combines aspects from the American and German academic systems.
