The German verein Education4Kenya e.V. had recently invited the coordinator of their Kenyan verein, Elimu ya Kenya that is based in Shanzu. Lilian Musungu, the coordinator, who teaches Business Studies at the Shanzu Teachers’ Training College was here to attend the AGM and to take part in the workings of Education4Kenya e.V.During the AGM, Lilian was there to answer questions from the sponsors and partners of Education4Kenya. One of the major discussion points was definitely “violence in Kenya after the recent elections” but Lilian was able to asure them Kenya had remained peaceful during and even after the elections and there were no signs of any eruption of violence.
Education4Kenya e.V and Elimu ya Kenya have been working togetehr for over 8yrs and are currently working on building the “Elimu ya Kenya Primary School- Altenburg Land” in Mombasa.
