A recent IT hitch at the Sparkasse has found thousands of their clients around the country paying twice for transactions.
An IT error in the Sparkasse saw its systems deduct payments twice from their clients account for payments made during or around the Easter period. Reports from various newspapers this week, have narrowed the time period to only March 22nd.
A statement released by the Sparkasse has assured its clients that the issue has been identified and will be sorted out. Refunds will be made automatically in the next couple of days. In case you find a deduction from that time period has been booked twice and the funds haven’t been returned by end of this week, please contact your local Sparkasse.
