A German member of the regional parliament in Hessen, Daniel Mack, found himself in the middle of a violent scene a few days ago at the Frankfurt train station. The MP who is half German and half Sri-Lankan but has never met his Sri Lankan father, was called a Nigger and asked to go away.
There were five DB security guards plus a conductor who were holding down the man from Ghana. The security guys were holding the Ghanaian man on the floor, while the conductor removed a stick from his pocket and used it to hit the man.
When Mack tried to intervene and ask what the man had done, the security guys shouted at him dismissively, “Go away, You Nigger”. Mack took out his phone and took pictures of the scene only for one of the security guys to come and knock the phone off his hand.
Mack took to twitter to demand for answers, as he posted the pictures he had taken.

The police who came later, arrested the African guy and went with him. According to the police the Ghanaian will sue the DB security guys for assault, while the DB sued him for riding the train without a ticket.
Mack who refused to use his MP status to identify himself at the scene said we should all stand against racism and violence. If any of us encounters such a scene, we should take pictures and post them on twitter. Twitter isn’t only for cute pictures from the concerts.
The DB replied to Mack’s tweet immediately and promised to take action against the perpetrators.
@danielmack Das ist absolut nicht schön und geht gar nicht. Bitte folgen Sie uns, dass ich Ihnen eine DM schicken kann. Vielen Dank. /ci
