Programme Descriptio“research – educate – conserve” describes the sponsorship and activity focus of the Evonik Foundation, founded in 2003. The Evonik Foundation primarily sponsors doctorates as well as Diplom and Master theses. Both applicants from universities and universities of applied sciences are considered. Over 10 scholarship holders are supported financially every year
The foundation awards sponsorships every year, particularly for academic research by doctoral candidates, postdocs and other academically qualified persons. Key sponsorship areas are fixed by the foundation every year. Information about these is provided here.
All applicants are required to be able to provide evidence of above-average aptitudes and achievements during their studies, giving reason to expect successful completion of the programme. Support therefore generally only begins after it has become possible to evaluate the applicant‘s achievements – usually after the Vordiplom stage or completion of a Bachelor‘s degree in the case of lengthy courses of study.
