Kenyan Passes Away in Mannheim



It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of James Gichuru from Mannheim. James suffered from chronic disease that had completely spread to the lungs. The doctors had put him on an artificial coma for the last three weeks and his condition had started to improve only to deteriorate again the day before yesterday, he had some internal bleeding in the brain. Yesterday (06.03.2013) he was already brain dead and the doctors had to switch off the machines at 1:30pm.

He lives behind a companion Wambui Gichuru and an 18month old son, Darwin Gichuru (Mannheim); his brother Anthony Mathu (Mannheim) and his two sisters Irene Wambui (Bensheim Auerbach) and Catherine Wanjiku (Kaiserslautern).


The family is meeting daily, from 5pm Kwa Grace (Ring Mwangi’s Bell) at:
