Registration at the embassy

Embassy

Hallo People,

The Kenyan Embassy in Berlin is requesting all Kenyans to register at the Embassy either by physically going to the Embassy or online. The process is very simple.

A few things to note before you go ahead and register:

  • Do not use an alias, use your official names. I used Mkenya only to demonstrate the process
  • You are allowed to register even if you hold a passport from another country, in this case it would be a German passport. As long as you were born in Kenya or have Kenyan (grand)parents and have necessary Kenyan documents, or used to have Kenyan documents eg ID, Passport, then you can register.
  • Your migration status here in Germany is irrelevant so don’t worry about your details being forwarded to the officials

If you had already registered and would like to update your information, click here.

Below are the steps on how to go about it, both for first timers and those updating their info, just scroll to find the other instructions. It takes less than 5mins:

5. Check your email, you’ll receive a confirmation email (this doesn’t always happen, but don’t worry, they have your details now)

Updating your details:

If you are updating your profile, you’ll need your email address and Registration token, you must have gotten it after your last registration.

Incase you can’t remember what this token number was, don’t worry, as long as you remember the email address you used during the last registration, just register anew using the same email address and they will send you an email informing you that you have updated your data. In this email you will have the same old registration token. Save it this time.

1. Enter your Email Add and the Registration Token

2. Click on your profile

3. Change the necessary details, then click save

3. Go through the Input Confirmation form, if everything is as you want it, click Save. If you need to change anything, click back

4. You receive a confirmation that you have been registered and you get a Registration Token.

5. Check your email, you’ll receive a confirmation email (this doesn’t always happen, but don’t worry, they have your details now)
