Shangilia aus Kenia trifft Köln

Apparently tomorrow is a holiday, I had absolutely no idea but that aside, I just found the dates and venues that Shangilia, the kids’ group from Kenya will be performing. I have been running around and calling everyone I know, from the embassy to WDR who are organizing to get the dates but no one could give me any dates……now imagine my shock when I realized their first performance is tomorrow, then they have another 2 and that’s it…imagine so after further research I just found they have a long itinerary and will be have a couple more shows and not only in Köln but in many other towns as well. Ni sawa tu, all those that refused to give me those dates…nimewasamehe.

For those that have never heard about Shangilia, which is also known as Shangilia Mtoto wa Afrika, you can read about them on their website here. I would love to tell you about them, but we all know I’m not very good at summarizing stuff, especially on this blog hehehe….so save yourself the torture and just read about it on their page.

Anyway, I’m so excited…..anyone interested in coming to see them entertain, here are the locations, times and dates. For those in Köln or in areas close to Köln and can show up, tafadhalini…please show up….there will be no speeches, the kids will be singing, dancing and performing some acrobatic moves….I know it will be fun for all of us……please show up. The entrance is “gegen Spende”…(this caused quite a discussion yesterday, in relation to the Micere event in Berlin…if you missed it, don’t worry, you didn’t miss much…LOL)
