15.10 Study Scholarships for Students Studying German Studies (for Africa only)

Application deadline: 15 October each year (exception Summer Course Grants: 15 December). Receipt of applications for Summer Course Grants at DAAD: 1 February of the following year.

Objective
These grants are offered within the scope of

a) Research Grants for Doctoral Candidates and Young Academics and Scientists (more than 6 months; up to six months; at the time of application, generally no more than six years should have passed since the applicant gained the last degree.

b) Research Grants (6 months) to prepare the Maitrise oder Master‘s degree
