Kenyan Student Passes Away Unexpectedly in Darmstadt

A Kenyan student at the Studienkolleg in Darmstadt  has passed away.

Victor Muchiri Maina born on 7th May 1994, passed away at the University Hospital Frankfurt on 8th December where he had been rushed for treatment.

Victor who grew up in Eldoret had moved to Germany five years ago as a FSJer. He later proceeded to join Studienkolleg, which he was currently undertaking. He had sadly never managed to go back home since his arrival five years ago and he was finally planning on going on the 29 of this month.

Victor was last year diagnosed with sickle cell aneamia. An autopsy showed that he succumbed to Tuberculosis (TB), which had unfortunately been diagnosed too late.

His parents and family back in Kenya would like to have the chance to see him one last time and give him a proper send off, which will only be possible with your help.
