Kenyan-German Named One of the Top “Berliner Cool-Kids on Instagram”

i-D, a German online magazine went out in search of the 5 coolest Instagram kids in Berlin. Topping the list was Olive, a 23 year old Kenyan-German stylist with 4542 followers followed closely by Steffen Grap with 4341 followers (at the time of writing this).

Below is an interview i-D had with Olive:

Where do you come from?

I was born in Washington DC to a Kenyan mother and a German father. I’ve been living in Berlin for the last 4 years.

What do you do?

I work for INDIE and Material Girl Magazine and a bit of styling on the side.

How many hours do you spend online daily?

Too many.

What’s your favourite and least favourite social media platform?

Instagram and Snapchat are my favourites, while Twitter is not my thing.

Does it matter to you, how many people follow you?

It’s all about the numbers, baby.

Who would you wish was secretly visiting your Instagram account? Shia LaBeouf, though he doesn’t have an Instagram account.
