The Kenya Embassy Berlin is seeking applicants for the position of a Clerk for a three year contract period. Reporting to the Immigration Attachè, the Clerk will be expected to provide support in consular services.

The deadline for submission is 5th August, 2015.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processing passport applications/travel documents and other consular services
  • Updating data, records and registers on a regular basis
  • Attending to consular enquiries
  • Performing any other clerical duties as may be assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

For appointment to this position, a candidate must have:

  • At least twelve years of Schooling and attainment of a University Degree or equivalent Diploma in Social Sciences. Candidates in possession of a relevant Diploma will be considered
  • Fluency in English and German in addition to report writing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Capacity to work with minimal supervision
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven proficiency in ICT
  • Valid Residence Permit
  • Age 40 years and below

Added Advantage:

  • Exposure in a busy work environment
  • Basic qualifications in Customer Care/Public Relations
