A Kenyan lady has passed away in the Southern city of Nuremberg (Nürnberg).
Lydia Atieno Bensch was diagnosed with kidney failure and has been undergoing treatment since 2012. Her conditioned worsened a few weeks ago, increasing her dialysis appointments to thrice a week and taking a toll on her health.
She passed on last weekend. Her body will be leaving Munich Airport today and will arrive in Kenya tomorrow on the 1st of July for burial in her ancestral home.
