The Governor of Nairobi County, Evans Kidero and the Cabinet Secretary for Transport, Eng. Michael Kamau, will be in Berlin next week for a breakfast event.
The two will be here to discuss the “Mass Rapid Transit” project planned for Nairobi. A German company, Gauff Ingenieure, is involved in the planning of the project budgeted for 500 million euro.
The Mass Rapid Transit program is aimed at improving the public transport system in Nairobi with more buses and a fixed bus fare.
Eng. Kamau will give an update on the growth of the transport system in Kenya while Kidero will inform the participants of the opportunities open to investors in Nairobi County.
