Embassy Requests Kenyans in Germany to Register in Preparation for 2017 Elections

Embassy

Kenyans living in Germany, Romania and Bulgaria have been requested by the Kenyan Embassy in Berlin to register with the Embassy if they are interested in taking part in the elections to be held in 2017.

The exercise is a request by the government as they start preparations for the next elections. This is in line with the provision in the constitution for diasporans to vote:

Art.82 (1) (e) of the Constitution calls for progressive registration of citizens residing outside Kenya and the need for them to realize their right to vote.

All Kenyans are requested to register on the Embassy website,
