Kenyan Peace Ambassador honoured in Augsburg

Last Thursday (3rd April 2014), saw Selline Korir honoured for her engagement as a peace ambassador.

Selline Korir has been very vocal about bringing together warring communities in Kenya. She has stood against tribal kingpins and even community leaders who campaigned for blood shed.

Selline became the first African to receive the Mietek Pemper Award from the University of Augsburg. Read more about Selline’s work and the Mietek Pemper Award here.
