If you love architecture, good architecture then this is an event for you.

Afritecture which is an exhibition in Munich, showcases new and upcoming buildings in Africa and runs from 14th Sept until 24th Jan 2014.

The event is organised by Francis Kéré, a Burkinabé (from Burkina Faso), who studied architecture in Berlin and used the knowledge he got there to build a school in his hometown in Gando. The school is built using technical know how from Germany but the materials and ideas were traditional ones from the villagers. The school has won accolades for being eco-friendly and green.
