Challenges of Moving to Less Travelled Diaspora

Back in the day when people left home to go to “majuu”, most people assumed it was either the US or the UK. Even today, some people still assume majuu is the US and the UK. But what happens to those of us who ended up in countries that don’t speak English and aren’t used to Africans? 

Although living away from home is hard regardless of where it is, I still think in some countries it’s a bit harder than in others. Here’s a Kenyan who moved to Russia without knowing a word of Russian. He talks of the challenges he encountered living there.
