Since SPD and Die Grünen won in Niedersachsen, they are using this chance to turn around all the laws they’ve been having a problem with. And on Saturday they were out to change the minimum wage. It has been long discussed but most States and politicians especially from the CDU/CSU were of the opinion to maintain the status quo which had been set earlier with Tariffs.
The new move by SPD and Die Grünen will see some professions almost doubling their salaries. The current Tariff payments for the following professions in Thüringen are Hairstylists: €3,18, Florists: €4,44, Gardeners: €5,93, Bakers: €6,26, Butchers: €5,50.
