Former Kenyan boxing Champion dies in Germany

time-to-say-good-bye

Crispin Odera Obeto, a world renowned Kenyan boxer passed away in Germany last week. Crispin who moved to Germany in the 90s as a boxer but after an injury had to quit his boxing career.
The family is now pleading with well wishers to help raise the €4000, the Citizen reporter mentioned plus a hospital bill, which according to how things work here shouldn’t be the case. I assume they only need the money to send back the body.

According to the video that was posted by Citizen TV Kenya, he lived in Stuttgart, in BW and did odd jobs to support himself and his family.Through my own research though, all other evidence shows that he used to live in Krefeld in NRW. Efforts to get in touch with the brother, Claxon were futile. The embassy in Berlin weren’t aware of the story either. I’m still trying to get more info, and I’ll get back to you.

If by any chance you know who is incharge of sending home the body from here, you could send me their contact details I get in touch with them; for those willing to help out.
