An African Dirndl at the Oktoberfest

A Cameroonian designer, Rahmee Wetterich, based in Munich has revealed a Dirndl made out of Ankara for this year’s Oktoberfest, what many of us Kenyans call Kitenge. The designers thinks that the Bayern culture has a lot in common with the African one inlcuding love for beer, hospitality and love for a great time.

I’d personally take a Kitenge brighter than this (I love colour) over the traditional one. What do you guys think? An African dirndli or the traditional one?
