Rahime from the Africa Europe Platform

As part of the ongoing EU-funded European-wide African Diaspora Platform for Development (EADPD) project, we are mapping all African diaspora organisations and networks in the EU Member States plus Switzerland and Norway. The aim of the project is to establish the Africa-Europe Platform (AEP), a network of African diaspora organisations involved in development initiatives in Africa. Hence, the mapping helps us to identify potential members of the Platform and to promote our project. The mapping consists out of identifying  African diaspora organisations and networks in Europe, contacting these organisations and networks by e-mail and phone to inform them about the AEP and to ask them to fill in an online form about their organisation.
The information collected about the potential members and partners of the AEP is used to establish a database and learn more about their activities.

We would like to kindly ask you if you can support us with the mapping of African diaspora organisations and networks. Could you possibly share the ‘Africa-Europe Platform Mapping Information’ pdf-document as well as the word documents attached with all African diaspora organisations and networks involved in development initiatives in Africa that are based in your country or countries of accreditation?

Secondly, would it be possible to provide us with a list containing the names, names of contact persons, postal addresses, telephone numbers, and most importantly, e-mail addresses and websites of the African diaspora organisations and networks you sent the mapping information to?
This will enable us to contact the organisations directly in the future in case they do not fill in the form.

For more information about the EADPD project and our upcoming events, please visit the AEP website: www.ae-platform.org.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for your time and consideration.  We appreciate your support to further advance our project.

Kind regards,
On behalf of the AEP Mapping Team,
